What is This?

Welcome to the first blog I have created outside of a class assignment. I figured I was tired of practicing my poetic skills on facebook statuses which seemed mundane and pointless so I decided to create this (although I am not sure this will be satisfactory either). Nonetheless, I have deemed this as my personal journal for poetry. Enjoy to the few who happen to stumble upon it and feedback is welcome.

The Fourth

Staying, decaying, fraying, laying,
Draining, baneing, janeing, paining,
Ailing, bailing, snailing, failing,
I just can't focus.

Waving, raving, paving, shaving,
Ebbing, webbing, plebbing, thebbing,
Wasteing, basteing, pasteing, fasteing,
I just can't focus.

Seeing, teeing, being, meing,
Teething, seathing, weathing, reathing,
Tearing, scaring, pairing, frearing,
I just can't focus.

Searing, gearing, rearing, leering,
Pulling, dulling, tulling, bulling,
Hilling, shrilling, killing, milling,
I just can't focus.

Guessing, resting, festing, messing,
Withing, wiseing, whereing, whening,
Whating, whying, howing, whoing,
I just can't focus.

Ibbing, Cribbing, Arkibbing,
Nilbbing, Frilbbing, Orkibbing,
Cilzbbing, Urilzbbing, Srkilzbbing.

The Third

For how many times,
How many rhymes,
The unrelenting wall
Prevent and forever stall.

All too common this block,
With a life like a rock
That stays and never strays,
Portrays but never conveys.

So why continue on,
To push until dawn,
Without advance forward,
What is there to look toward?

If not to break through,
Why pick and dig for new,
When the results remain few,
And the digger never tastes dew.

Because, when the stone never relents,
When the rocks refuse and the pick dents,
Neither matter in forever and ever,
No matter it be dust or diamond,
For now until the bittersweet end,
One always has the pick to crash and rend.
